I really enjoyed the September Lit-Cube box (see my unboxing here), so when the opportunity came to sign up for their one-time, limited edition Halloween box (yay). I jumped at the chance.
Look at all the pretty things! The box cost $44.95, more than the normal box, but you certainly get your money’s worth. The box includes a new book, Teen Frankenstein by Chandler Baker
And fun halloweeny socks
There was also a lovely packet of loose leaf tea, “Frankenstein” (pumpkin spice and ginger, yum!) by the First Edition Tea Co., as well as a bag of jalapeño popcorn and some caramels from Anne B’s. (In all, wonderful timing; it’s cold and rainy here today, so I get to try everything out)
Also included in the box were Hocus Pocus sister magnetic bookmarks (always useful), and a National Geographic DVD about vampires (neat!)
In all, the value of this box is incredible. The pajama set alone is worth the price of admission (it’s also a LitCube exclusive and wicked comfy). The snacks are perfect for a chilly weekend curled up with a book and a blanket. Unfortunately, the crate has sold out, so if you didn’t order one already, you’re out of luck. But this is definitely something you should keep an eye out for next year. I can’t wait to see what the next limited crate will be!
